Blanka Domagalska Biography
Blanka Domagalska is a media artist and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Her practice-based research oscillates around issues concerning the role of individuation vis-à-vis technology, liminality in electronic culture and human agency. Her installations, short films and web art have been exhibited internationally. She publishes regularly and delivers talks and workshops in the US and abroad.
Blanka is currently a PhD candidate at the Planetary Collegium, University of Plymouth, UK. She received her MFA from the department of Art Theory and Practice at Northwestern University, Evanston in 2003 and her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1999. She was a recipient of the University Fellowship in the Graduate School at Northwestern University in 2001 and 2002.
